Scout Hut, Troop 37, Easley, SC
Built in 1936
Shown above is the cabin of Troop 37 at Easley. The hut is located in a wooded area in Hagood park not far from the Girl Scouts’ cabin. Built in 1936, most of the construction was actually done by Scoutmaster Clive Higgins and his brother, Harry Higgins. When the hut was nearing completion, materials for the floor and ceiling and some labor were furnished by the NYA.
