Summer Camp Special 2011
Dear Troop 37 Parents,
Troop 37 is going to Summer Camp at Camp Old Indian near Travelers Rest, SC from
June 19th – 25th. Below is useful information to help Scouts (and parents) get ready for camp.

FEES:
Merit Badge Program fees are $190.00. High Adventure/Ranger fees are $220.00. Additional fees may be required based on the Merit Badges chosen by the Scout. Also, financial assistance is available to make this Scouting event possible to all Scouts.
The deadline for paying camp fees is June 13th

| Mail to campers should be sent to: | Scouts are allowed to bring spending money for Canteen and Trading Post. Scouts are required to keep up with their money. | |

| ADDITIONAL FEES: | ||
| Several Merit Badges require Scouts to purchase additional materials from the Trading Post or the Camp. Scouts will not be allowed to take these Merit Badges unless they have money to cover the cost. | ||

| Wednesday, June 22nd is Visitors Day. | We will be leaving from the Scout Room at
12:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 19th. |

| Parents and family can arrive at camp after
5:00 p.m. and should plan to stay for the OA Callout and Native American Indian Dance Pageant at 8:30 p.m. It will be over around 9:30 p.m. |

We will return to the Scout Room around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 25th. |

| MEDICAL FORMS: | ||
| A new Annual Health and Medical Record Form is required to be completed annually for all Troop members. This form requires a Physician to complete a medical evaluation on each Scout and Leader prior to allowing participation in Scouting activities, such as Summer Camp. All Medical Forms should be turned by the meeting on June 13th.
A copy of Scouts Medical Insurance card should be included. DOWNLOADS:
